Kelsey Corteggiano

I am Kelsey Corteggiano and I am a Northern Michigan native. From hiking to swimming, to enjoying the food and drink culture of downtown, I love all this area has to offer.

 

Q: Please tell us about your current, past, or future career. What do you love most about what you do?
I am owner of Inpire Wellness Studio, and have been a licensed esthetician and massage therapist for 15 years. Having a career in wellness and bodywork, I love making people feel their best, and relaxing from lifes daily stresses. Each one of my treatments is completely customized, in hopes of moving people closer to their goals.

 

Q: What are some of your favorite restaurants in our community?
We have so many amazing options to choose from! Its hard to choose, but some of my favorites are The Flying Noodle, Boones Long Lake, Towne Plaza, and Reflect Bistro

Q: How long have you lived or worked in our community? What brought you to Grand Traverse County?
I was born and raised in the Traverse City area.

Q: What advice would you give to people who want to visit our community?
Take time to truly enjoy the area, whatever season you decide to come in. And always remember to respect the nature and the water, leave it better than you found it so future generations can continue to come and enjoy the amazing fresh water!

 

Q: What is your favorite thing or something unique about our community?
My favorite thing about our community is the people. Everyone is welcoming, when your walking down the street you get the smiles and hellos from strangers.

 

Q: Which yearly event in Grand Traverse County do you enjoy best?
I enjoy going to The Sara Hardy Farmers Market and The Old Towne Arts And Crafts Fair

Q: What is your favorite season in Northern Michigan? And what is your favorite activity to do in that season?
My all time favorite season fall. The changing of the leaves, the smell in the air, it’s just one of a kind. I always like to go apple picking, and stop at all the road side stands to get cider, donuts, pumpkins…

Q: Finally, what 3 words or phrases come to mind when you think of the word HOME?
Comfort, Acceptance, and fresh air
