In the stars Candles is a passion project of mine, as a mother of two young girls I stumbled upon this opportunity to use my artistic side, while creating something safe for our home. With overwhelming support from my family and friends I have been able to come up with a clean product line that offers sparkling beauty and comforting scents to each item that is carefully hand poured in our home. I am proud to have been born and raised in Traverse City, Michigan where I currently reside with my family and produce all products offered by In the stars Candles.
Q: Please tell us about yourself.
I am a native to TC and I love supporting local businesses that help other small businesses grow and thrive. Proud mom of two young girls and I always love to include them in my business. I hope it shows them they can be strong, independent women who follow their passions.
Q: Please tell us about your current, past, or future career. What do you love most about what you do?
I have navigated many career paths, but I have always been drawn to helping a business grow. I studied interior design at Adrian Collegeand and spent many years in that field, so creating a beautiful environment is something that makes me truly happy. I found that in making candles. The sense of smell is so nostalgic and if I can bring a special memory back to someone through one of my candles, that is such a rewarding feeling.

Q: What is your favorite thing or something unique about our community?
Our accessibility for walking, biking and getting around safely. We can navigate so much of our city on foot, has been my favorite part of growing up here. I remember spending my entire summers as a teen wandering the beach and popping into shops downtown.
