My name is Cody Hendrickson and it is my mission to make your spa experience the absolute best it can be. So instead of you spending time troubleshooting and maintaining your spa, the only concern you’ll have is how much time you can spend in it!
I am a certified spa technician with several years of experience helping people make the most of their spa through routine maintenance and checkups.
Q: Please tell us a little bit about your family.
My wife and I have been married for 10 years and have a 7 year old son and a 4 year old daughter.
Q: Please tell us about your current, past, or future career. What do you love most about what you do?
What I’ve loved most in my past and present occupation is the people that you meet.
Q: What are a couple of your favorite restaurants in our community?
Sparks BBQ, Mundos Coffee house, Mama Lu’s, the Good Bowl
Q: How long have you lived or worked in our community? What brought you to Grand Traverse County?
We moved up in 2012 because we love the community and decided this would be a great place to raise a family!
Q: Who is the most interesting person you’ve met here in our community?
Vern Gauthier of Fit for you health club.
Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?
California! I went in 2014 for hot tub training and couldn’t get enough. Can’t wait to take my family!

Q: What advice would you give to people who want to visit our community?
There are some incredible small businesses up here innovating. I tell vacationers to bring there dollars because supporting these entrepreneurs strengthens our community.
Q: What is something on your bucket list?
Earn a pilot’s license.
Q: What current or former local business makes you feel the most nostalgic about our community?
Definitely the movie theater. I have always loved old movie theaters and take the chance to duck into as many as I can:)
Q: If you could choose anyone today with whom would you love to have lunch? Why? And where locally would you all meet for this lunch?*
Dan Clark is a world renowned public speaker. I would take him to Sparks BBQ and make sure to purchase a lunch spot and a dinner spot. Public speaking has always been a goal of mine. I would love to learn from the best.
Q: What is your favorite thing or something unique about our community?
I love the small town feeling here. I love that everybody knows everyone else and is eager to help you out.
Q: Where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years?
Well I have multiple projects that I am currently working on. But I would love for Innovo Spa to be serving more than 500 customers by then.
Q: (Even for friends or family), what is something interesting that most people don’t know about you?
I can juggle and ride the unicycle.

San Diego, California
Q: Favorite month? Favorite holiday? and the best single day on the calendar?
New years eve!!! I love big parties.
Q: Who inspires you to be better?
Definitely my wife. She is an incredible encouragement to me daily. I wouldn’t be were I am today without her.
Q: What is your favorite season in Northern Michigan? And what is your favorite activity to do in those seasons?
Summer. Biking and swimming.
