Im a mom, I enjoy spending time with my family, being outdoors, yoga, traveling and creating art.

Q: Please tell us about your current, past, or future career. What do you love most about what you do?
I love being able to help people, whether im giving confidence or just saving them time in their daily routine. I get to see people in a new light of feeling good about themselves and its so rewarding to know I am working towards something that gives not just confidence but a feeling of being “whole” again.

Currently: the untethered soul by michael a. singer

Q: What are some of your favorite restaurants in our community?
Taproot, Chefs inn, thai cafe, sorellina, spanglish, radunos, glendale food truck

Q: How long have you lived or worked in our community? What brought you to Grand Traverse County?
My family has deep roots just south of Traverse City. I grew up here and even though I’ve left a few times to the big cities, I always come back home. I’ve lived most my adult life in TC, and have been working as a artist for 2 years now!

Q: What advice would you give to people who want to visit our community?
Walk and bike (in warm weather of course) its the best way to really experience the beauty of TC! Drive the peninsula, hike the trails at the state hospital, go to empire. Watch a movie at the state theater! Also, go to lake michigan (but im not sharing my secret spots 😉

Q: If you could choose anyone today with whom would you love to have lunch? Why? And where locally would you all meet?
Honestly probably a philosopher like Alan Watts, or Lao Russel. They make me question things in life, and I would love to ask the whys and what ifs of life. It would definitely be an outdoor setting like a park bench in the midst of busy summer. People watching and eating fresh cherries.

Q: What is your favorite thing or something unique about our community?
Entrepreneurialism and people taking action. This town thrives on community and connections and we are always creating, and always expanding! Theres always something going on if you know where to look.

Q: (Even for friends or family), what is something interesting that most people don’t know about you?
Idk, im pretty open and genuine in who you meet is who i am, or i guess Id say im extremely introverted and like being home, even alone but thats not interesting.

Q: Which yearly event in Grand Traverse County do you enjoy best?
I’m trying to find my way into more things, but I enjoy the northwest mi fair, halloween and christmas light drives downtown, the light parade and tree lighting!

Family, safe, happy
