Hello! I am a Traverse City native, I am the oldest of six children, a business owner, a super auntie and dog-aholic. I love to be near water. It calms me. I love delicious food and drink at dinner parties. I love to laugh, ALOT. I love watching women succeed and grow. I’m passionate about changing the world one woman at a time.

Q: Please tell us a little bit about your family.
My little family consists of my partner and two furry babies that keep me entertained. I’m from a big family and we are very close. Getting us all together is a riot.

Q: Please tell us about your current, past, or future career. What do you love most about what you do?
I empower women through the art of Boudoir Photography. I have been a photographer for 14 years. I LOVE showing woman their beauty. Bringing out their inner power through my lens and giving the confidence, empowerment and self love we all deserve.

Q: What are a couple of your favorite restaurants in our community?
Red Ginger and Bubbas

Q: How long have you lived or worked in our community? What brought you to Grand Traverse County?
I am a TC native. So I’ve been here a long time. LOL

Q: Who is the most interesting person you’ve met here in our community?
Betsie Coffia, Anne Bonney…there are so many

Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?
Greece. I traveled there two years ago and left part of my heart there. Amazing place.

Q: What is one of your favorite movies? TV shows?
Princess Bride, an oldie but goodie. Stranger Things on Netflix. And I’m a total nerd so I love Star Wars, Marvel and all the sci-fi. Loving Mandalorian right now!

Q: What advice would you give to people who want to visit our community?
Have fun. Enjoy our little corner of heaven. Eat all the things and drink all the drinks. Be kind. Tip your servers.

Q: What is something on your bucket list?
Month long road trip with no agenda across the country

Q: What current or former local business makes you feel the most nostalgic about our community?
Bardons, Wares Brothers, Flap Jack Shack

Q: If you could choose anyone today with whom would you love to have lunch? Why? And where locally would you all meet for this lunch?*
My dad. He was an amazing human, father and friend. He gave the best advise, better hugs and a sense of calm in crazy times. We would go to Flap Jack because it was his favorite.

Q: What is your favorite thing or something unique about our community?
The community itself. I love how we support each other and there is a sense that people want to help each other.

Q: Where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years?
Still here in TC but spending more of my winters away were the sun is around more and I don’t need to shovel. Spending more time on my boat. Still empowering woman and enjoying life.

Q: (Even for friends or family), what is something interesting that most people don’t know about you?
I was a champion waffle cone maker back in the day. :o)

Q: What is the most beautiful place you have ever been?
I can’t pick one! Oia, Greece. The Agean Sea takes your breath away. However, this summer I had dinner on the beach of Lake Michigan and it was the most stunning view I’d ever seen in all my trips there.

Q: Favorite month? Favorite holiday? and the best single day on the calendar?
Fave month is definitely July. Its full on summer, the sun is shining and there is a buzz of happiness and fun in the air. Favorite holiday is definitely Christmas. Best single day of the year….huh… the day that I get to be with my entire family. That day changes every year though.

Q: Who inspires you to be better?
My nieces and nephews.

Q: What is your favorite season in Northern Michigan? And what is your favorite activity to do in those seasons?
Summer for sure! Boating, kayaking, hiking, farmers market and enjoy local wines and delicious food while looking out over the water.
